Sharon Walsh, LCSW, LICSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW) with extensive experience supporting adults, adolescents, couples, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, relational conflict, adjustment challenges, and complex life stressors. I feel especially confident working with individuals who appear high functioning on the outside but experience significant internal distress — chronic stress, emotional overwhelm, difficulty concentrating, or strained relationships. My work focuses on stabilizing symptoms, strengthening emotional regulation, improving communication, and building practical coping strategies that create lasting change.

My approach is structured, compassionate, and goal-oriented. I integrate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), trauma-informed care, family systems frameworks, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I believe therapy should feel both safe and purposeful — a space where you are supported, challenged, and empowered to grow.

My professional background includes community-based behavioral health, outpatient psychotherapy, nonprofit case management, and school-based clinical social work. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and supporting youth through IEP and 504 plan development has strengthened my ability to view healing through both an individual and systemic lens.

Outside of my work, I value balance and creativity. I enjoy traveling, cooking and sharing meals with loved ones, jogging, staying active, listening to music, and dancing. I also cherish quieter moments of reflection and stargazing. Caring for my own well-being allows me to show up grounded, present, and fully invested in the healing work we do together.
